Found Catelli Smart pasta in the clearance section at my local SDM for $0.99. I have been waiting patiently for a good sale to use my $0.75 coupons. Unfortunately all but one of my coupons were not expired but it could have been worse - they could have all expired.

Free Compliments Lean Beef Burgers

Thanks to another SCOP I received this package of 8 lean burgers for FREE!  Sale price was $8.99 but rang in at $9.99 at the register. I will enjoy eating these free burgers much more now.

A short recycle walk brag ...

For months I have been searching for deals on a freezer so that I could stock pile on meats but couldn't bring myself to pay hundreds (+tax).  This morning, I spotted this going on the curb across the street so that's why it was a short walk! DH asked permission to have it and I'm thrilled as can be! Now, the meat sales can officially begin - I'm ready :)

What a great way to begin the morning with 26 swagbucks just for an internet search. Tomorrow is mega bucks Friday so I'd love to see what gets handed out then! This is getting me closer to earning another $5 amazon.ca gift card. They are accumulating fast!

Free Busy Bone Dog Chewy @ Food Basics

I found two very large busy bone chewies on clearnace at Food Basics today. Smaller versions of these normally sell for $4.29(ish) so I was pleased to find the large ones reduced to $3.00 each.  To make the deal even sweeter, I had two $1.50 coupons so I got one of the busy bones for free!

Bought some scoopable cat litter marked $2.49 on the hang tag but was scanned in at $2.99 so I received cat litter for free today! Some stores have a policy that if the scan differs from the hang tag, that item is free (under $10).

Account holders are able to collect up to $25 in amazon.ca gift cards per month so I'm well on my way to achieving that again this month. Gift cards are electronic and need to be uploaded to my amazon.ca account. Best part is that they are stackable!

• used the last two of my $5 Kellogg's gas cards. prices at the pump are down from $1.30 to $1.28 which is still ridiculously high.

Everyone loves a bargain but it mostly happens to you by chance right? Try to recall this situation - you're in a store and happy that the item was unexpectedly lower than you thought to pay and then leave the store not thinking twice about it.  I love a good deal but I don't just leave my savings to chances - I make them happen with a bit of strategic planning. I love talking about my great deals and have now decided to write about them too!
